OBTAINING A THAI POLICE CERTIFICATE OF GOOD CONDUCT
- Applicant residing in Thailand.
1.1 Thai national applicant.
- Passport
- Thai ID card
- House registration
- In case of name or surname change, a certificate is required
- Military Service Document (Sor Dor 8 or Sor Dor 43 etc.)
- Marriage certificate or Divorce certificate (if available)
- Requesting letter from the Embassy of the country that the applicant plans to travel (if available)
- In case of minor, the parents or the guardian must be present to give consent.
1.2 Foreign applicant.
- Passport
- Document (s) certify that the applicant is working, used to work or residing in Thailand.
- Thai Work Permit (if available)
- Applicant residing in abroad.
2.1 Thai national applicant.
- A photocopy of current passport.
- A photocopy of Thai ID card.
- A photocopy of House Registration.
- In case of name or surname change, a photocopy of name or surname change certificate is required.
- A photocopy of military Service document. (Sor Dor 8 or Sor Dor 43 etc.)
- A photocopy of Marriage certificate or Divorce certificate (if available)
- Two photographs (I inch by 2 inches)
- Three sets of fingerprint. Fingerprint must be taken at local Police Station in your country together with the official seal and signature of the official taking the fingerprint.
- An envelope with pre-paid stamps and applicant’s address to mail certificate back to the applicant. (Please kindly enclose postal coupon [INTERNATIONAL REPLY COUPON / UNION POSTALE UNIVERSELLE] for the postage for the item / 5 to 10 coupons should be enclosed with other documents. Coupon could be bought at post offices.)
2.2 Foreign applicant
- A photocopy of passport
- Document(s) stating that the applicant is used to work or live in Thailand
- A photocopy of Thai Working Permit (if available)
- Two photographs (1 inch by 2 inches)
- Three sets of fingerprint. Fingerprint must be taken at local Police Station in your country together with the official seal and signature of the official taking the fingerprint.
- An envelope with pre-paid stamps and applicant’s address to mail certificate back to the applicant. (Please kindly enclose postal coupon [INTERNATIONAL REPLY COUPON / UNION POSTALE UNIVERSELLE] for the postage for the item / 5 to 10 coupons should be enclosed with other documents. Coupon could be bought at post offices.)
Please be informed that there is no fee for Police Clearance Service. The processing time takes 7 working days. (Excluding mailing time)
