NON-IMMIGRANT VISA
PURPOSE OF VISIT : Business, Conference, Research, Teaching, Mass Media, Missionary, Education, Family Reunion, Settlement after Retirement,  Medical Treatment,  etc. (See 6 for documents requires)

TOURIST VISA
PURPOSE OF VISIT :  for Tourism purpose only

TRANSIT VISA
PURPOSE OF VISIT :  Transit (requiring proof of confirmed onward ticket to a Third country)
Sports  or  Crew  (requiring letter from organization concerned)

             VISA REGULATION FOR TEACHING IN THAILAND

VALIDITY OF VISA AND PERIOD OF STAY

Visas issued by the Embassy will have a validity period of 3 months, i.e. the visa holder must enter Thailand before the expiry of the 3-month period counting from the date of visa issue.
The period of stay in Thailand will be given at the point of entry

(airport or border check point) :
        Transit Visas       -  up to 30 days from the date of entry
        Tourist Visas       -  up to 60 days from the date of entry
        Non-Immigrant Visas -  up to 90 days from the date of entry
